1.	SDM College of Naturopathy & Yogic Science Ujire. NCH DHARMASTHALA Shanthivana Trust, Dharmasthala, Dakshina Kannada was honored by Rajyotsava award for the year 2011.
2.	‘Shanthivana Sambhrama’ was celebrated on behalf of receiving Rajyotsava award 2011 for Shanthivana Trust on 10th November 2011 at Mahothsava Sabha Bhavan, Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala. President Dr. D. Veerendra Heggadeji celebrated this occasion with the Staffs and students of SDM College of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences & Staffs of NCH, Dharmasthala. On this Occasion Dr. D. Veerendra Heggadeji announced extension of Naturopathy Out patient Unit (PPP) to 19 other Government district hospitals. Sri S. Marappa, senior devotee of Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala and Sadaka of NCH and Dr. Naveen K.V., Founder Director of FAITHS also addressed Chief Guest note. Smt. Hemavathi Heggade,  D. Harshendra Kumar, Secretary SDME, Smt. Supriya Harshendra Kumar, Dr. Prashant Shetty, Principal SDMCNYS of Ujire College were present. After the official program, our students performed cultural programs, followed by that grand dinner was provided for all the faculty members and students of SDM College of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences & Staffs of NCH.
3.	The 36th National Yoga Championship was organized by Shanthivana Trust, Sree Kshetra Dharmastala in collaboration with Karnataka State Amateur Yoga Sports Association from 29th November to 3rd December, 2011 at Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala. Padmabhushan Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar of Pune, inaugurated the program on Tuesday at Amrita Varshini auditorium, in the presence of Dharmadhikari Dr.Veerendra Heggade. 800 contestants from 28 states are in the ring of attention.
4.	Padmabhushan Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar of Pune visited NCH hospital, Dharmasthala and gave a Guest lecture on “philosophy of yoga” for BNYS students on 30th November 2011.
5.	Mrs. Maneka Gandhi, the chairperson of People for Animals, animal rights activist, environmentalist visited all the departments of Nature Cure Hospital, Shanthivana, Dharmasthala on 23rd November 2011. Dr. Prashanth Shetty CMO, NCH briefed about Naturopathy system.
